So far, so good. I’m not unhappy at the weather but it could have been worse, it may even yet get worse BUT, and it’s a big but, the nights are shorter and it’s “Get the van ready for its next outing time” again.
Check below for the sites for the new season, send off your booking and join us for the first weekend in Delamont or wherever takes your fancy. BUT, there’s that big but again, bring gas, electric cable, thermals, water bottles, wooly socks and a nice book. Oh and bring antifreeze - I find the Bushmills variety is particularly effective.
There will be another along next year Don’t say I didn’t tell you. If you want a DA then you need a committee. Please give it some thought.
This year the AGM was a sad occasion for Colin and Cathellen and our hearts go out to them and Rachel and Amanda. Both Colin and Cathellen have put a lot of hard work into the DA and were looking forward to slowing down and enjoying caravanning as members again. Colin and Cathellen, your fellow members want to offer their sincere condolences and to record their thanks for all you did for the club in recent years.

I’ve asked this before - but here goes again. Who was the first man on the moon? Who was the second? And for the bonus, who was the third member of that crew who just orbited in the command module while his mates bounced around? If you can answer all of those questions you really should be in a team.
NIDA will be happy to welcome, teams, relatives and supporters on the night. The venue isn’t hard to find so lets have a great turn out to support CDDA and meet our friends from Bangor and NI DAs.
Angie left us a little present. She managed to reclaim the July fortnight at Portora for CDDA. In past years we were reduced to 12 then 10 and 8 days at the popular Enniskillen summer THS. This year we are back on the school grounds for a fortnight. So whatever your holidays you could manage a week or two or maybe a weekend or two in Enniskillen in July. Tell your friends and make it a memorable summer.
