Regional Round Up Feb 2010
NFOL
The NFOL is in Scotland this year at the end of August, so no excuses about being back in time for the Schools starting again. There are good deals on the ferries, so no excuses about that. In fact, just be there, no excuses are accepted. Forms are available from Region and need to be returned in February to enable a block booking to go in. If you book later and separately there is no telling where you might end up. But that would be an adventure in itself.
Those who have been before will be familiar with the notion of decorating the van and taking part in the Mardi Gras parade. The theme this year is Theatre and a meeting will possibly be arranged at the NI Regional Rally for those travelling to the NFOL and who want to participate as part of the group.
Pennon Competition
The Regional Rally needs a pennon and if your design wins it will be made up for the event. Normal pennon criteria applies. It must be no more than 3 colours plus white and include the Club badge. Other than that it is over to you budding Rolf Harris types. Submissions to Chris Wells, any media accepted.
The Regional Rally
The venue is Ballynahinch Rugby Football Club and we are hoping for as good or better turn out than last year. There will be a packed programme of activities and like always a good time is guaranteed. Come along and see for yourself if you have never ventured out to a rally before.

Regional Chairman
Appreciation and Thanks
On behalf of Myrna and myself we wish to thank the CDDA Committee and members for their sympathy cards and telephone calls on the recent and sudden loss of our two and a half year old grandson “Leo”.
Words cannot express our devastation, but your support and prayers are very much appreciated.
